Fees & Payment
The practical side of therapy should be clear, too.
I want you to know what to expect financially before we begin. Fees vary depending on the type of service, and if you’re using insurance, your actual cost will depend on your individual plan and benefits.
Private-Pay Fees
Individual intake — $225
Individual therapy — $175 per session
Couples intake — $275
Couples therapy — $225 per session
Coaching & consulting — starting at $150 per session
Relationship intensives — customized based on format, length, and individual needs
Using Insurance
If you’re using insurance, your responsibility will depend on your specific plan and may include a copay, coinsurance, or deductible.
I participate with different insurance plans in Montana, Arizona, and Idaho. You can find the current state-by-state list on the Insurance Accepted page.
Because benefits vary even within the same insurance company, I recommend verifying your behavioral health and telehealth benefits directly with your insurance provider.
Payment
A card on file is required for services.
Major credit and debit cards are accepted, including HSA and FSA cards.
Cancellations
Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice may be charged a $75 late-cancellation/no-show fee.
Reduced-Fee Availability
A limited number of reduced-fee openings may be available for private-pay clients depending on current availability.

Good Faith Estimates
If you do not have health insurance or choose not to use your insurance to pay for services, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care.
A Good Faith Estimate is available when services are scheduled within applicable timeframes or upon request. If a bill from a provider is at least $400 more than that provider’s Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
